The VanDutch 55ft is the boat people photograph before they board it. The Dutch yard built its reputation on one silhouette: a plumb bow, a near-flush deck and no clutter anywhere, and at 55 feet in a black hull that look is at its strongest. The whole deck is one open level, so the group stays together instead of splitting across cabins. A large sunpad sits aft over the swim platform, a U-shaped lounge and dining table sit amidships, and the helm sits forward under a bimini with a wraparound screen. Teak runs the length of the cockpit. Below deck the finish switches to all-white gloss, with an island bed cabin forward, a compact galley with an induction hob, a sofa and a head with a separate shower. It is a day boat first, built for cruising the coastline and anchoring off the sandbar. Docked in Miami Beach at $3,200 for four hours, it carries up to 13 guests.

We stopped at multiple spots to take photos and the captain was more than happy to adjust the route whenever we wanted. We rented the 66ft Azimut during our trip to Miami and it was honestly one of the best days of our vacation. Everything was smooth from the start. We ordered food and drinks ahead of time, and when we arrived, everything was already set up on the yacht and super fresh. The drinks were already chilled in the ice box, which was perfect.
