PRIVATE MULTI-NIGHT CHARTERS

Overnight Yacht Rental Fort Lauderdale, One Night to Seven Nights

A Fort Lauderdale overnight yacht rental from Crown Yachts Miami is a fully private booking on a vessel with sleeping cabins, a professional crew on board throughout the night, and every meal provisioned before departure. The experience begins with a sunset departure from one of Fort Lauderdale's full-service marinas and ends the following morning after breakfast at anchor. The crew handles navigation, anchoring, and overnight watches so guests do not manage anything from the moment they board.

The simplest overnight is a dockside sleep-aboard at the slip, or a one-night anchor at Lake Sylvia on the protected Intracoastal. Larger offshore-capable vessels complete a Bahamas crossing to Bimini as a two-night round trip, with Fort Lauderdale one of the closest gateways to the Bahamas in the country. Multi-night charters extend north to Lake Boca Raton and West Palm Beach or south along the Hawk Channel toward the Florida Keys.

Overnight yacht charter departures are available from deep-water marinas across Fort Lauderdale, including Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six, Lauderdale Marina, and Las Olas Marina. We assign the marina closest to where your group is staying.

Types of Overnight Yacht Rentals in Fort Lauderdale

Dockside sleep-aboards, one-night Intracoastal anchorages, Bahamas crossings, weekend voyages, and extended multi-night charters. Every overnight yacht rental in Fort Lauderdale is fully private with a crew and provisioning arranged before departure.

Most Popular

One-Night Intracoastal Anchorage

The most accessible overnight yacht charter in Fort Lauderdale. Depart at sunset, anchor in the protected calm water of Lake Sylvia inside the Las Olas Isles, and return the following morning after breakfast on deck. No offshore passage required. Ideal for first-time overnight guests, couples, and small groups who want to sleep on a yacht without a long crossing.

Sleep Aboard

Dockside Sleep on a Yacht

Fort Lauderdale is the yachting capital of the world, and a dockside sleep-aboard is one of the simplest ways to spend a night on a private yacht. Stay at the slip at Bahia Mar or Pier Sixty-Six with the crew on board, dinner from a private chef, and the Intracoastal lights around you. A calm, no-crossing way to experience a night aboard.

See Overnight Fleet
Bahamas

Bimini Bahamas Overnight

A Gulf Stream crossing to Bimini, roughly 50 nautical miles east of Port Everglades. Fort Lauderdale is one of the closest departure points to the Bahamas of any city in the United States. Depart in the evening, cross overnight, arrive in North Bimini at dawn, spend a full Bahamian day at anchor, and return the following morning. The closest international overnight destination.

See Overnight Fleet
Weekend

Two-Night Weekend Charter

A Friday-to-Sunday private overnight charter combining an Intracoastal anchorage on the first night and a run north to Lake Boca Raton or Hillsboro Inlet, or offshore toward Bimini, on the second. Two sunset anchorages, two mornings at anchor, and a full day of cruising and activities between them. The most complete overnight yacht rental format for groups of 4 to 12.

See Overnight Fleet
Romantic

Couples Overnight Charter

A private overnight charter configured for two guests. A single master cabin on a private vessel, dinner prepared by a private chef at anchor, stargazing over the Intracoastal, and a slow morning return after a cooked breakfast on deck. The most distinctive overnight experience for an anniversary or special occasion. More private than any hotel in Fort Lauderdale.

Couples Charters
Extended

Three to Seven Night Charter

Multi-night charters of three to seven days covering the full range of South Florida and the Bahamas. A week-long charter from Fort Lauderdale can reach the Bahamas out islands, West Palm Beach, and the Florida Keys. Full provisioning, a private chef, and a complete crew for the entire duration. The most comprehensive overnight yacht charter format available in Florida.

WHAT TO EXPECT

How a Fort Lauderdale Overnight Yacht Charter Actually Works

A Fort Lauderdale overnight yacht rental is simpler than most people expect. You share your dates and destination, we send a curated shortlist of overnight-capable vessels, and you show up at the marina. Here is what every overnight booking from Crown Yachts Miami includes from first inquiry to morning return.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATION

Private Sleeping Cabins on a Dedicated Vessel

Overnight-capable vessels in the Crown Yachts Miami fleet range from 65 to 116 feet and carry 2 to 6 private sleeping cabins. Smaller 65 to 75-foot vessels sleep 4 to 8 guests. Larger 88 to 116-foot vessels accommodate 8 to 16 sleeping guests across 4 to 6 cabins. Every vessel listing we send includes the cabin layout, number of berths, and a description of the overnight experience aboard that specific vessel.

CREW ON WATCH ALL NIGHT

Captain and Crew on Board Throughout the Night

Every Crown Yachts Miami overnight charter includes a USCG-licensed captain and a full crew for the entire duration of the booking, including the night at anchor. The captain handles all navigation, anchoring, and overnight watches. Guests do not need any boating experience or license. The crew remains on deck and available throughout the night at every anchorage.

COMPLETELY PRIVATE

Your Vessel, Your Group, Your Anchorage

Every overnight boat rental is entirely private. No shared passengers, no other guests on board at any point. The vessel is yours for the entire booking from sunset departure through the morning return. You choose the anchorage, the route, and how long you stay in each location. The captain builds the overnight itinerary around your preferences and adjusts for sea conditions on the night of departure.

ROUTE OPTIONS

Intracoastal, the Bahamas, or the Florida Keys

A single overnight from Fort Lauderdale can anchor at Lake Sylvia on the Intracoastal or stay dockside at the marina slip. Larger offshore-capable vessels complete a Bahamas crossing to Bimini as a two-night round trip, with Fort Lauderdale one of the closest gateways in the country. Multi-night charters extend north to Lake Boca Raton and West Palm Beach or south along the Hawk Channel toward the Florida Keys. The captain advises on the best route for your dates and current sea conditions.

PROVISIONING AND CHEF

Every Meal Loaded Before You Board

Full provisioning for all meals is arranged before departure. A private chef prepares sunset dinner at the first anchorage, a cooked breakfast on deck in the morning, and any additional meals for multi-night bookings. The open bar, glassware, ice, and all food items are stocked and ready from the moment the group boards. Nothing to coordinate on the day of departure.

FLEXIBLE DURATION

One Night to Seven Nights at Your Pace

Overnight charters range from a single Intracoastal anchorage or dockside sleep-aboard to a seven-day voyage covering the Bahamas and the Florida Keys. A one-night Intracoastal anchor is the most common entry point. A week-long charter can cover the Bahamas out islands and the South Florida coast. Most overnight guests begin with one night and return for longer bookings.

DEPARTURE POINTS

Overnight Charter Departure Marinas

Overnight charters depart from all major Fort Lauderdale marinas. We assign the marina closest to your hotel or address, with deep-water berths at Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six, and Lauderdale Marina for larger overnight vessels and Bahamas crossings.

It was our first time exploring Miami by yacht and it was one of the best experiences we've had. The crew took great care of us the entire time. They were super friendly and patient. We stopped at multiple spots to take photos and the captain was more than happy to adjust the route whenever we wanted. Marinda also helped capture so many great moments for us, which made the whole experience even better. We will absolutely be returning!

We rented the 66ft Azimut during our trip to Miami and it was honestly one of the best days of our vacation. Everything was smooth from the start. We ordered food and drinks ahead of time, and when we arrived, everything was already set up on the yacht and super fresh. The drinks were already chilled in the ice box, which was perfect. We had an amazing time out on the water, everything was exactly how we hoped it would be. Definitely recommend Crown Yachts Miami if you're trying to have a fun day out with friends. Would 100% book again!

FAQ

Overnight Yacht Charter Fort Lauderdale FAQ

What is an overnight yacht charter in Fort Lauderdale?
An overnight yacht charter in Fort Lauderdale is a private booking where guests sleep aboard the vessel at anchor or at a marina slip. Charters range from a single Intracoastal anchorage to multi-night voyages to the Bahamas or the Florida Keys.
Can I sleep on a yacht in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. You can sleep on a yacht in Fort Lauderdale either dockside at a marina slip, at anchor on the Intracoastal at Lake Sylvia, or on a Bahamas crossing. Every overnight-capable vessel has private sleeping cabins and a full crew.
What is the difference between an overnight boat rental and an overnight yacht charter?
An overnight boat rental is typically self-skippered at a marina berth. An overnight yacht charter includes a full professional crew who handles all navigation and overnight watches. No boating experience is required.
How many people can sleep on an overnight charter yacht in Fort Lauderdale?
Sleeping capacity varies by vessel. Smaller cabin yachts in the 65 to 75-foot range typically accommodate 4 to 8 sleeping guests in 2 to 4 cabins. Larger vessels in the 88 to 116-foot range accommodate 8 to 16 sleeping guests across 4 to 6 cabins. We match your group size to the right vessel based on the number of guests sleeping, and every cabin detail is included in the vessel shortlist we send.
Do overnight charters in Fort Lauderdale include a crew?
Yes. Every Crown Yachts Miami overnight charter includes a USCG-licensed captain and a full crew for the entire duration of the booking, including the night at anchor. The captain handles all navigation, anchoring, and overnight watches. Guests do not need any boating experience or license. The crew is on board and available throughout the night.
Can we sail to the Bahamas on an overnight charter from Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. Bimini in the Bahamas is roughly 50 nautical miles east of Port Everglades, making Fort Lauderdale one of the closest departure points to the Bahamas of any city in the United States. A Bimini overnight charter departs in the evening, crosses the Gulf Stream overnight, and arrives in North Bimini at dawn. The return crossing is done the following morning. The voyage requires a valid passport for all guests and a cruising permit arranged before departure.
What is the best time of year for an overnight yacht charter in Fort Lauderdale?
The best overnight charter season in Fort Lauderdale runs from October through April when trade winds are steady, sea conditions are predictable, and temperatures at night are comfortable. May through September is the warm season with calmer Intracoastal conditions but higher humidity and afternoon thunderstorm activity. Year-round overnight charters are available, and the captain monitors weather for every booking regardless of season.
What provisions are included in an overnight charter?
Base overnight charters include fuel, water, and ice. Full provisioning including breakfast, dinner, and open bar is available as an add-on. A private chef is the most requested overnight upgrade. All provisions are loaded before departure.
Is it safe to sleep on a yacht anchored in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes. The Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal and anchorages like Lake Sylvia are protected, calm bodies of water with secure overnight holding. The captain selects the anchorage based on weather, tide, and sea conditions on the night of the charter. The crew remains on board and on watch throughout the night. Overnight anchoring and dockside sleep-aboards are routine operations for every vessel in the Crown Yachts Miami fleet.
How far in advance should I book an overnight yacht charter in Fort Lauderdale?
Book overnight charters 2 to 4 weeks in advance. Multi-night and Bahamas crossings benefit from 4 to 6 weeks lead time to arrange full provisioning, a private chef, and any required permits for international passages. Peak season overnight bookings from December through April and around the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show sell quickly. Contact us via WhatsApp and we will confirm vessel availability for your preferred dates within hours.
