Amazing yacht rental experience. Ben was great on board, helpful, friendly and on top of everything. Everything went perfect, and the jet skis were superior. Will definitely be back.

Private yacht cruises on Biscayne Bay with an unobstructed panoramic view of the Miami skyline. The Brickell and downtown tower cluster, the Port of Miami, and the city at golden hour and after dark, viewable only from the water.

AS SEEN IN

MIAMI SKYLINE FROM THE WATER
The best view of the Miami skyline does not exist on land. From any street-level position in Miami, buildings, overpasses, and trees break the skyline into fragments. From Biscayne Bay, anchored in open water south of the MacArthur Causeway, the full Brickell and downtown tower cluster stretches uninterrupted across the western horizon with the flat water of the bay in the foreground. Crown Yachts Miami operates a fleet of over 55 private yachts departing from Miamarina at Bayside, Island Gardens Marina, and Miami Beach Marina for Miami skyline cruises on Biscayne Bay.
A Miami skyline cruise positions the yacht in the bay directly facing the city and anchors at the best viewing distance for the full panorama. At sunset, the glass facades of the Brickell towers turn amber and orange as the sun drops behind the western edge of the city. After dark, the tower lights and port terminal illumination reflect on the bay. The skyline cruise can extend south to Star Island and the celebrity estate circuit or to Fisher Island and Government Cut for a complete Biscayne Bay itinerary.
Every Miami skyline cruise is fully customizable with private catering, a private chef on board, a DJ, custom yacht decoration, and watersports for sandbar stops on extended charters.

THE HIGHLIGHTS
The Brickell and downtown tower panorama, the Port of Miami terminals, the MacArthur Causeway framing the skyline, and the city at golden hour and after dark. All from an unobstructed mid-bay position.
The Miami skyline is best seen from a position in the middle of Biscayne Bay looking west, where the full tower cluster from the downtown waterfront through Brickell, Edgewater, and the Port of Miami stretches uninterrupted across the horizon. No land position in Miami gives this view. From the MacArthur Causeway, the bridges, overpasses, and trees break the panorama. From the Miami Beach side looking west, the full depth and width of the skyline opens up only from the water. Anchored in the bay off the port or south of the causeway, the tower cluster fills the western horizon with nothing between the yacht and the glass facades of the tallest buildings in South Florida.
The Port of Miami terminals sit at Dodge Island directly in front of the downtown skyline, making port traffic a built-in element of every Miami skyline cruise. The port is the busiest cruise port in the world, and the cruise ship channel runs through Government Cut at the southern end of Miami Beach. A yacht anchored in the bay off the port has the cruise terminals directly to the west, the downtown and Brickell towers rising behind them, and the MacArthur Causeway bridge framing the skyline to the north. Cruise ship departures from the port are primarily in the evening and create some of the most dramatic on-water photo opportunities in Miami.
The MacArthur Causeway spans Biscayne Bay between downtown Miami and Watson Island at the entrance to Miami Beach, carrying the main traffic corridor between the two cities. From a yacht on the bay south of the causeway, the bridge structure frames the Miami skyline above it to the west and the Miami Beach skyline and hotel towers to the east on the other side. The Watson Island side of the causeway is also the position of Island Gardens Marina, giving departing vessels an immediate skyline view from the first moments on the water. The causeway is a key compositional element of the skyline from the bay.
The Miami skyline changes more dramatically between daylight and darkness than almost any other urban skyline in the US because the glass tower facades catch and reflect the setting sun directly toward Biscayne Bay. At golden hour, the entire Brickell and downtown cluster turns amber and orange as the sun drops behind the western edge of the city. After dark, the individual tower lights, the neon of the port terminals, and the white arches of the MacArthur Causeway create a layered illuminated panorama reflected on the flat black water of the bay. A sunset or evening departure from Miamarina or Island Gardens gives the most visually concentrated version of Miami from the water.
WHERE WE DEPART
Miamarina at Bayside on the downtown Miami waterfront is the closest departure marina to the best skyline viewing positions on the bay. Island Gardens Marina and Miami Beach Marina offer convenient alternatives.
Miamarina at Bayside Marketplace at 400 Biscayne Boulevard departs directly from the foot of the Miami skyline onto Biscayne Bay. From Miamarina, a yacht heads south onto the bay and within 5 minutes reaches the open water position south of the MacArthur Causeway with the full tower cluster stretching across the western horizon. The marina is steps from the Bayside Marketplace waterfront, accessible by Metromover, rideshare, and covered parking in the adjacent garage. For guests wanting the most concentrated skyline experience from the closest possible departure point, Miamarina is the natural choice.
Island Gardens Marina at the base of the MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island offers the best combined departure for a Miami skyline cruise that extends to Star Island, Fisher Island, or Nixon Sandbar. The marina sits at the intersection of the MacArthur Causeway and Biscayne Bay, with immediate open-water access in every direction. From Island Gardens, a yacht heading southwest has the downtown and Brickell towers directly to the west and the Government Cut entrance to the south. The skyline viewing position is about 10 minutes from departure heading south toward the port.
Miami Beach Marina at 300 Alton Road on the southern tip of Miami Beach provides the full Biscayne Bay crossing as the approach to the skyline, giving guests the widest bay panorama on the way out before anchoring off the port for the skyline view. From Miami Beach Marina, the Miami skyline sits directly to the west across the bay, 20 to 25 minutes by water. The route heading northwest from Miami Beach Marina passes the Star Island and MacArthur island chain before reaching the prime mid-bay skyline viewing area, making it the most scenic approach for guests coming from the Miami Beach side.
Dinner Key Marina in Coconut Grove is 20 to 25 minutes north of the downtown skyline by water via a northbound Biscayne Bay crossing. The Miami skyline viewed from south Biscayne Bay presents a slightly different angle than from mid-bay, with the Brickell tower cluster at the center and the downtown waterfront slightly to the right as you look north. A Coconut Grove departure can combine Nixon Sandbar at Key Biscayne with the skyline cruise on the way back north, adding a swim stop to the itinerary without changing the skyline viewing quality.

ITINERARIES
From a 2-hour bay anchor to a full-day Biscayne Bay tour. Every itinerary includes the mid-bay Miami skyline viewing position as its centerpiece.
The Miami Skyline Cruise is a 2 to 3 hour bay circuit departing Miamarina at Bayside or Island Gardens Marina, heading south onto the bay to the open-water viewing position south of the MacArthur Causeway, anchoring for skyline photos and time on the water, then cruising the port waterfront before returning to the marina. The route covers the full Brickell and downtown skyline panorama, the Port of Miami terminals, and the MacArthur Causeway framing from the bay. This is the most direct format for guests who want the Miami skyline as the primary destination.
A 3-hour sunset skyline cruise departs approximately 90 minutes before sunset, anchors in the bay off the port for the golden hour as the sun sets behind the Brickell towers and turns the glass facades amber and orange, then remains on the water through the early evening as the city lights come on and the tower reflections spread across the bay. Evening departures between 5pm and 7pm capture the full transition from golden hour to night. This is the most photographed format for Miami skyline charters and the most booked time slot for couples and small groups.
A Miami Skyline Night Cruise departs after 7pm and heads directly to the mid-bay viewing position with the full downtown illuminated skyline visible to the west. The combination of tower lights, the arches and cables of the MacArthur Causeway lit at night, the port terminal cranes, and the city light reflection on the water creates a version of Miami from the bay that looks completely different from any daytime view. Night cruises are popular for groups celebrating birthdays, proposals, and anniversaries who want the Miami night skyline as the backdrop.
A 4-hour skyline and celebrity island circuit combines the bay skyline viewing position with the Star Island, Palm Island, and Hibiscus Island celebrity estate circuit to the east. The route departs Island Gardens Marina, anchors south of the MacArthur Causeway for skyline views, then circles the three-island estate corridor along the causeway before returning past the Watson Island waterfront and the Miami skyline as seen from the bay. The Star Island estate circuit adds the celebrity private island angle to the Miami skyline panorama on a single combined 4-hour charter.
A 4 to 5 hour expanded skyline tour combines the mid-bay Miami skyline anchor stop with the Government Cut channel transit and the Fisher Island waterfront to the south. From the bay off the port, the route continues south through Biscayne Bay to Government Cut, transiting the channel between Fisher Island and South Beach before returning north past the port and the downtown waterfront. The Government Cut approach from the north gives the skyline a full depth-of-field backdrop as the yacht passes the Port of Miami terminals on the way to the channel, showing the relationship between the port, the waterway, and the city in a single continuous view.
A 6 to 8 hour full-day Miami waters tour combines the downtown skyline panorama, the Star Island celebrity estate circuit, Nixon Sandbar at Key Biscayne for a swim stop, the Government Cut channel and Fisher Island transit, and the bay at sunset on a single extended charter. The route covers the full arc of the Biscayne Bay waterfront from Key Biscayne north to the MacArthur Causeway, with the Miami skyline serving as the constant backdrop from multiple angles throughout the day as the yacht moves from south to north and back again. This is the most comprehensive single-day itinerary available on Biscayne Bay.

WHAT TO KNOW
Miamarina at Bayside Marketplace is at 400 Biscayne Boulevard on the downtown Miami waterfront, adjacent to the Bayside Marketplace shopping and dining complex. From Brickell, the marina is a 10-minute drive north on Biscayne Boulevard. From Wynwood and the Design District, the drive is 10 to 15 minutes south. From Miami Beach, take the MacArthur Causeway west to downtown and head north on Biscayne Boulevard for approximately 20 minutes. The marina is directly accessible by the Metromover at the Bayfront Park station, making it the most transit-accessible departure point in Miami.
Bayside Marketplace has a covered parking garage directly adjacent to the marina entrance on Biscayne Boulevard, open daily and charging by the hour. Street parking is also available along the Biscayne Boulevard waterfront and on the surrounding downtown blocks. For guests arriving from South Beach and Miami Beach, rideshare to the Bayside waterfront is a 20 to 25 minute trip and avoids the causeway parking. We recommend arriving at the marina 20 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow time to board and settle before departure.
Sunset departures between 4:30pm and 6:30pm provide the best visual experience on a Miami skyline cruise, with the golden hour light hitting the glass Brickell towers as you anchor in the bay and the transition to city lights visible across the water as the charter moves into the evening. Morning departures between 7am and 9am give calm bay water, cooler temperatures, and the possibility of watching cruise ships return to port through Government Cut. Midday tours work well for corporate groups and family outings. Night cruises after 8pm give a completely different, neon-lit version of the skyline from the bay.
A dedicated Miami Skyline Cruise runs 2 to 3 hours, covering the bay skyline viewing position, the port waterfront, and the MacArthur Causeway corridor. A sunset skyline cruise runs 3 hours to capture the full golden hour transition. A Miami Skyline and Star Island combination runs 4 hours. A Miami Skyline and Government Cut tour runs 4 to 5 hours. A full-day Miami waters tour combining the skyline, Star Island, Nixon Sandbar, and Fisher Island runs 6 to 8 hours. Most guests book 3-hour charters as the standard format for skyline cruises.
Private Miami skyline cruises accommodate groups from 2 to 13 guests on standard yachts. Sport yachts in the 45 to 75 foot range provide excellent open-deck skyline views and are the most common vessel for bay anchor positions. Larger motor yachts in the 65 to 105 foot range provide more deck space for parties and corporate groups who want the full upper deck open for a skyline panorama. Every charter is fully private, with no shared tours or additional passengers on board.
All Crown Yachts Miami charters include a USCG-licensed captain, crew, fuel, ice, water, and a Bluetooth sound system. Add-ons available for Miami skyline cruises include private catering with full menu coordination, a private chef on board, an open bar package with bartender service, a DJ with full equipment for sunset and evening cruises, custom yacht decoration for celebrations, VIP transport from your hotel or residence to the marina, and a professional photographer or videographer to capture the skyline and bay experience.
