Pelican Harbor Marina near the 79th Street Causeway is 20 to 25 minutes from Aventura. Rideshare from Aventura hotels and residential towers to Bill Bird Marina is typically a 12 to 18 minute trip with minimal traffic. Parking at Haulover Park
Bill Bird Marina at Haulover Park has a large paid parking lot inside Haulover Park with multiple entry gates. The park fee is separate from marina charges. Weekday charters and early morning weekend departures avoid parking congestion entirely. Best Time of Day for an Aventura Charter
Morning charters departing between 9am and 11am are best for Haulover Sandbar access because the anchorage is least crowded and parking at Haulover Park is readily available. Afternoon charters from 1pm to 4pm find the sandbar at its most social on weekends. Sunset Intracoastal charters departing at 5pm to 6pm from Aventura provide the full golden-hour experience on the waterway, with the light hitting the residential towers along both banks.
